Cheeky bastard possum ...
... sneaks down at night an nibbles on our pink camellias. Ping alerted us to this the other night. She'd love to be let out to see him off but I suspect she wouldn't come off best if there was a fight. She's only wee.

don't talk to me about possums....we just caught either the same possum for the 4th time in a fortnight or there are 4 less possums in the bush next door...(we think it is the same one because when they are are stuck in the cage they rub their faces on the bars trying to escape causing a nasty gash acros the nose bridge...on friday night it was not a fresh nose wound but a healing one!! BASTARD, he is just coming back for the peanut butter and jam sandwich!)
Perhaps your sandwiches are the talk of possum town! We had a little man wire up the chimney so they can't get inside anymore (fingers crossed).
Oh, won't you take me to... Possum Town!
Gotta move on!
*giggles*, they are quite groovy, and noisy, but at least they don't play funk!
possums - and bandicoots - and the death knell of our back yard. They eat everything and dig holes in the lawn. Nightmare.
Still, I'm not that desperate that I would catch them then throw them in the pond to watch them drown ... as a friend's next door neighbour used to do. Shudder.
Kim - lucky you to have bandicoots, and I've a mind to throw that neighbour in a pond and watch him drown.
