Oh, yeah, I used to iron my hair when I was that age too. It's not really curly; more like undercooked bacon.
I spotted a knee, so you never went to a convent school ;o) I did wonder if you had had a small curly haired dog, if you would have had a perm? ;o)

S - yes, Amber Dog, it must be 20-odd years ago.
Yes, I ironed my hair. Had to crouch down to ironing-board height, set the iron on low, and comb out sections of hair onto the board. Never did get burned, but I did get that stinky smell once or twice.
And, I've done the wet braids thing. I did lots of skinny braids, so that when you comb it out, you get an Afro.
Grlz are nutz.
SOME girls are nutz ;) I am totally sane, except when it comes to red shoes!
