Well if you could feel the string I probably didn't have the string, I've insisted on seamless socks and for all tags to be cut out of my clothes since I could insist on anything. I may have had (and still have a bit) pervasive hypersensitivity disorder it turns out. Gah!

Did your Mom use the little clips to keep them in place or the string that goes across the shoulders and down each sleeve?
Zoomie, I've no idea, I'll have to ask mum. I like the idea of string though.
I could always feel the string when I was little, so I preferred the clips, but the string worked better, so I had string. :-)
