It's St Patrick's Day today ...

... I totally forgot and:
a) wore a bright orange shirt to work. This made me fearful and fretful for the rest of the day because, not only would I NOT be an Orangeman if I were to be Irish, but I didn't want to be antagonising any drunken Irish backpackers, who may feel compelled to punch me or somesuch; and
b) didn't buy any sweetpea seeds, so now it's too late to plant any sweetpeas. All sweetpeas planted after St Pat's day are doomed you see.
O gah! of course this means the streets will be streaming with beer-y vomit tomorrow morning. Pants.

Oops! I almost made the same mistake this morning, but corrected it just in time. Green stone in my ring. Just enough to avoid pinches. Here, we just do pinches, not punches, if you stray.

Can you not find a country where it's still the 17th and rush out and buy some, and get them all planted up pdq?

I can't believe we're having corned beef and cabbage for dinner. Cranky went and bought a bright green T-shirt; man's going daft.

Zoomie - I did have green shoes on! Nobody actually does the pinch thing her, I was fearing a beating for being mistaken as an Ulsterman.
Roo, no, they would be Doomed, DOOMED I tell you!
Cookie, but it was home corned beef, oui? Mr Brown sleeps in a bright green shirt sometimes, it says "Kill the Pixies". My mum made it for him - she's gone daft!
