Yogurt & Barley.
I must say I'm finding the Apartment Therapy Kitchen site very useful in finding new and different soups to make for Sunday. There's favourites we go back to again and again, for comfort or whimsy, but I love giving a new soup a burl, it keeps life interesting, and tasty.
Next week I think I'll give this one a go.
I'm not sure how Sunday became soup night, I suspect it came at a time when a little frugality was needed and it turned out soup is pretty wonderful stuff. And, once you've done the prep, it's an easy, great smelling, homely thing to do, to make soup.
Easy to eat too, while watching the latest ABC bonnet drama.

Thanks for the links. I've never tasted anything like the yogurt barley, but it looks very good.
Soup is big around our home as well.
Miso to fish chowder to chicken to Mexican to... - they all seem to feed the soul as well as the stomach!
Do you make enough for a second meal? I usually do.
;o)
