A friend for the Staghorn ...

... my dad gave me a little Elkhorn (Platycerium bifurcatum)Fern to keep our old Mr Staghorn (Platycerium superbum - superbum! hehehehe) company out back. He's only a bebe but has already grown an extra frond in the few weeks he's been here.
And yes, we are obsessibly watching them, this won't happen again. Recovery is slow but it is happening.

What odd plants. I thought that top photo was a painting.
Good luck, with all that heat you're having.

Cookie, they are ancient, I suspect they knew dinosaurs. Nightly sprinklings is keeping them green and happy, that and the humidity!
