While I do miss my sailor while he's away ...

... I have to admit there's one good thing about his not being here.
I've not heard a word of ghastly cricket commentary for over a week. If it hadn't been splashed all over the news the other day I'd not even have known that South Africa beat Australian at the cricket, on Australian soil*!




*Apparently this is a reason for national mourning, smearing of ash on foreheads, gnashing of teeth and renting of clothing - Meh.

Lee, he tells me the titles are in Romania next year! Why not Paris??????? (oh, not on the sea, duh)
