It's a lovely night ...

... there's a blissful sea breeze wafting through the house. This makes the snuggles the cats insist on administering tolerable.
Those furry cuddles can be a little trying at this time of the year.
Like yesterday. When I got home after walking in the heat, up a hill, and flopped down on the bed under the ceiling fan for a little light cooling down - within nano seconds, 2 furry beasts, elegantly draping their full-furred bodies across me.
Still, at least they don't try to join me in the cooling showers. They just watch, intently, from the basin top!

Not sure I should share this, but I rarely am able to use the loo without one or more cats keeping me company!
During showers, one cat likes to walk all the way around the rounded rim of the claw foot tub! We call it her tub trick. The other often waits on the bath mat.

And I thought cats were supposed to be so fiercely independent...

My dog gets nervous when I shower, because it means I'm going out and leaving him alone.

Lee, I'm NEVER alone in the bathroom and regularly have a lap warmer when using the loo. We don't have a bath now, but in our old house Small used to sit on the edge and pat the bubbles!
O, and paroxysms of envy btw, you not only have a bath, but a claw foot bath. Lucky, lucky you!
Cookie, the girls don't mind signals we are going out, we do that most days I guess. But they get very clingy when the suitcases come out!
