I was with you up to "play like a musical instrument"?
That stumped me!
A drum???

Tuck pictures inside to find years later and moon over.
oh, and line the bottoms of bird cages, wrap fish.
You can't have fab bookshelves without books - I aspire to enough shelves to warrant a lovely ladder on wheels......
Lee, yep you can drum it, you can run your thumb over the pages to get that "thriiip" sound, and if you are really, really clever (and can stand the vibration) you can blow-buzz pages.
Zoomie, ooh yes, and those odd little notes that have you flumoxed years later! Wrap Fish?? It'd have to be a pretty terrible book.
Roo, I DREAM about those personal libraries - 0nes with balconies!
I was referring to the newspaper aspect of the Kindle for the fishwrapper. In fact, here we call a bad newspaper the Daily Fishwrapper.
Zoomie - ahhh, of course.
Colleen has one - course she lives in seattle now (and works for amazon). S
S - yes, she was one of the 2 people who suggested I get one. This is the person who once asked me to leave her my books! How things change eh?
