I'm so sorry, poor Mouse.
I've been thinking about doctors and illness (because I recently had an eye thing that involved scalpels, as did Mr. B., IIRC). When you're sick or hurting, it's so HARD to go the hospital. Yes, you want relief, but you don't want to get out of bed.

Mostly better now. Eyelid, actually. I'm disfigured a bit, but it's supposed to even out.
