In which I am finally satisfied ...

... you see, once upon a time I laid my eyes on these at a very fancy jewellers.
I liked them, nay, I coveted them, but for 2 points, I hated the hook setup, just not quite right, too loopy, and, well, they would set poor Mr Brown back well over $2000. I'm just not sure I could dangle that much money from my ears, particularly if they weren't perfect.
So, years go by until I spy these in a window of the delightful & talented Victoria Buckley's shop. These are so much nicer, prettier, quirkier. Perfection, variations of mostly green, one wee pink gem, proper hooks for my ears exactly how I like, they twinkle in the sun AND, affordable beauty. At last and finally, my heart's desire to dangle from my ears. I know it's wrong to love things, but I just don't care. The camera does not do them justice, but that will be remedied once Mr Brown returns from his overseas sailing jaunt in the new year!

I'm with you - love the baubles, even though it's not PC. :-) Congrats on finding the perfect pair to decorate your lobes.

I just love pretty things! Clearly I'm not the only one, given all the shops devoted to pretty things, but I'm glad I "know" someone who shares the joy!

Hi -
I love the ring Chuck gave me 13 years after we were married. When we became engaged he gave me a rock in ring box and said "someday...". I'm so glad we waited. Every single day it brings me joy and makes me smile - as does he!

Lee - I love the rock in a ring box, what a wonderful story.
I got my "rock" this year too, 15 & 1/2 years on. I'm glad I waited too.
