* which took my mind back to my parents' old garden. A blackbird used to nest there every spring, in the honeysuckle.

Must be Australian, every time when we see a beautiful or strange bird or animal, they are always from Australia! Don't you have a golden pheasant in our garden?? you should!
Ilva, we have the occasional cockatoo, magpie, rainbow lorikeet and rosella, but not golden pheasants I’m afraid. Perhaps I’ll ask for one for xmas :)
