There's a hot, dry wind blowing ...

... in from the west (I think, my internal compass is "totally batshit" in the words of Mr Brown). My sheets are in, crispy dry within 1/2 an hour.

They must smell wonderful.
Plus, because they aren't out there very long, the likelihood of the dreaded "deposits" is diminished!

Yep,the smell of sun-dried sheets is fantastic, it fills me with a peace I don't understand. I don't know what it is about smell but it works wonders.

Lee, the danger, at our house, is if you leave things out at night you get bat poo, purple, staining fruit bat poo. Practically impossible to remove the stain, good sheets have been turned into boat-polishing rags thanks to bat poo.

There really out to be a market for something that powerful!

Hmmm. for mulberry stains rub the stain with a green mulberry then sponge or wash as usual.
Detergents will set stains for red fruits like cherries, raspberries, blueberries bla bla. I am sure it is a raw green fruit you use - preferabley not ripe yet because the enzymes eat up the stain. But i also found something that says vinegar (white) or lemon juice in water.
scrape off the lumpy bits first and give it a rinse in cold water.
We had a mulberry tree and the girl was always climbing in it so i know that one works. x
