... … I read Vanity Fair, it’s one of the few magazines I bother buying anymore (and I used to buy a LOT believe me).
At the back there’s always the Proust Questionnaire. June’s respondent was John Cusack, who I’ve quite liked since I was a teenager really, he’s sort of cute in a bedraggled, mooshy way.
But no more. I’ll never be able to watch him in a movie without remembering his answer to the question: “Which Talent would you most like to have?”
Which was, and I quote, “Music. It seems the closest art to prayer and where the shamans roam.”
You just can’t fancy someone after they've said that, in public or in private.

you have my full support in this question (but what the heck is a sharman?? when I google on it I end up here...))
Ok. I have read it and reread it. I consider myself to be a SUPREMELY INTELLIGENT member of the species (hehe). I DON'T GET IT???? Explain please! (But then maybe you shouldn't as I also love John Cusack - do I want this crush crushed?) What is the problem with this answer - what am I missing!!! I just know once you tell me I'm going to look like a big idiot!
Ilva, apologies, that's SHAMAN (I mistyped in an R - oops) - googling that will get you your answer (a spirit guide sort of chap).
Ronnie - it's a personal thing, I just found this answere (and many of the others) just too too try hard, showing how very "spiritual" he is - it just made my teeth grind and my eyes roll.
ok, I suspected that it was shaman but as there are such a lot of things that I DON't know in this world I wanted to be sure! Let's grind our teeth together!
Ilva, we'll grind away, but not too hard, we still need our teeth for chewing!
