Summer is over ...

... today is the first day of Autumn. It's warm, not hot, the sun is shining but not burning, I feel my mood lifting already.
And to celebrate goodbye to the Summer yellow, hello Autumn pinky-red.

I'll be darned!
I thought the seasons "changed" on the same days around the world (equinoxes and solstices), just transitioned into different seasons depending on hemispheric location.
I'm always learning new things here DMM!

Love the color. The walls in my living room are a very similar color.

Well technically Lee it's only calendar autumn, rather than equinox autumn, but I'm just so happy the cooler weather is coming I'll celebrate just about anything ;)
E - glad you like it, it's almost the same colour as wild-caught trout.

I with you on taking the opportunity to celebrate a change - of course for me it's the approaching summer, and with an inch of snow falling last night, I am sooooooo ready!
