... the Sydney Morning Herald it's spiraling descent into vile tabloid-iness, it’s total pandering to the lowest common denominator because at least it isn’t The Sun (watch the video to the end, the manly scream is a scream).

I've got to say that any news organization reporting on the "creepy gnome terrorizing a town" is at the top of my list - that is FANTASTIC!
My friend once told me that when she was a little child living in Mexico there were several stories about large Smurf dolls coming to life and eating children. She said it was reported like real news - tv, newspapers, everthing. Her parents burned her Smurf doll.
She's STILL working through her childhood issues.
You know, that evil gnome could have been a smurt, it was rather dark afterall ;)
