Last Monday ...

... Mr Brown had the stitches removed from his eyeball (yes, I know, aaaaarrrrrrkkkkkeeeeeeeky). I took advantage of the location and general "medical" air and had a thing removed from my back. I got a band-aid. When I went to change it the next morning I saw that the doctor had given me a kiddies band-aid, covered in some sort of purple winged hippo doing things like riding a vespa, dancing in a tutu and playing with a ball.
Perhaps he thought it apt because of my youthful attitude.

My Friday night Wedding ?

I got blisters between the wedding and the reception, and do you think I could find a 'normal' bandaid ?

So, Hi-5 ended up with an invite also. Lucky my strappy sandals weren't SO strappy after all..

( and stitches in eyeballs ?
Way Eww.. )

You lost me right about the "stitches from eyeball" thing. Ew.

Stitches from the eyeball? AWESOME!! But then, I'm the one who posts pictures of needles in my hip and my labral tear, so it figures I'd think it's cool.

Seriously, after working with homicide detectives for a few weeks, whose idea of an interesting day is trying to gross each other out with crime scene photos and autopsy photos, eyeball stitches are quite manageable.

Besides, isn't it incredible that we have the technology to stitch eyeballs?

Too enthusiastic?

As for bandaids - Willsie got me cat bandaids for my birthday last year. They're awesome.

Your kiddie bandaid was a gift from your doctor, because it was going on your back. He knew you wouldn't see it until later, and then laugh and fall in love with him (because after all, your husband has strings in his peepers).

E - I'm trying to find where in Australia I can buy the bacon bandaids - they would be fabo.
Cookie - what a shame the dr didin't look like Clive Owen, then I'd totally have fallen in love with him, bandaid or not :)
