My goodness but that's a bloodthirsty and violent wee film is it not?
Rather beautiful though, they way it was shot and all those lovely, practically-nekid, well-built young men.

well be careful if you are squeamish - but it was almost comic-book violence so not too terrible I suppose.
no, not squeamish. don't like depressing movies, but not squeamish. so anything blockbustery is likely to be ok. but thanks for the heads up!
yer, i found it terribly gory and watched half the flick with handsies over my eyes. i really REALLY liked all those crazy animals that were trotted out in a bid to pound the 300. they were wonderful. so magestic and sinister and wierd!

and I thought the casting was profound too .... ahem.. ;o)
Roo - yeeerrrs, the Spartan king's accent was a tad disconcerting - and the story telling chap, lovely accent ;)
