14 years ago today ...

… it was a Saturday. It was a cold, crisp, Canberra, spring morning and it was threatening to rain (a disaster for anyone planning an outdoor “event”). In the end it didn’t rain until it didn’t matter and, although it was apparently freezing, the 2 main protagonists were warm as toast. Many a local gum tree sacrificed leaves in honour of the event. The Groom was on time, the bride didn’t wear white and Joseph Campbell's The Power of Myth may well have been quoted at some stage.
Ahh, the folly of youth.

Happy Anniversary! We too were 14 years this year (August). Love the colour of your dress.

Why thank you M, you'd never guess than in a certain light that dress looked ever so slightly purple would you (the cause of my one-and-only bridal tanty).
