Spiders ...

... the Nonist has posted about this amazing huge spider web that's been found and has all the spider folk in a tizz. Now that's a spider web you wouldn't want to blunder in to. It rather puts this to shame. But I don't care, I love St Andrew's Cross spiders, I think they are beautiful and these 3 bebes are a good indication that we've got another good garden-spider crop on the way for the summer. And here, have some pretty flower pics from this morning's garden.

Wow, that web in the linkage is intense !!

You can stick your own spider breeding though. Eww.

( P.S. - thought of you as I read the big Bee story in the Weekend Australian last night .... )

WHen given a chance, yep. Today ping chased skinks all through the pretty purple flowered plant, pretty much flattened it and then, for a rest, sat on my bebe silverbeet.
She also some how managed to eat a skink - how do I know? Because she then vomited it up onto the kitchen floor!
Cats, who'd have em?

H&B, I know I'm going to have nightmares about getting caught up in that monster web. Our spiders are much nicer - eat the mossies.
