Wednesday night pizza ...

... fresh tomato, basil, prosciutto & fresh mozzarella.
Unfortunately there is no photie because, although I spent Monday & Tuesday sick at home, I did not recharge the camera’s battery. Fevered brain & all that.
I finished The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay a while back. While it was every bit as good as the lovely Mr Chabon's other books it left me sadder than the other's I've read. The ending was somehow unsatisfactory, only partially happy damnit.
I'm saving the next Chabon for later and am having a complete break, reading A Rumor about the Jews: Antisemitism, Conspiracy, and the Protocols of Zion by Stephen Eric Bronner. I heard about the Protocols of Zion and this book at some lecture or other a year or so back (what can I say, I had a very sheltered childhood) and finally got a copy yesterday (between times I've been reading something about Venice). So far, so interesting.

Aw. Get better. I keep forgetting it's winter there.
(I've never read any Michael Chabon, and he's a homie. Bay Area. Should I?)

Oh do he really is a fantastic writer - wonderful stories and fabulous characters - I’m in the throes of a literary crush.

In reference to your suggestion to free myself from Corporate Pizza...

Any chance that you might post a good crust recipe?

I think I can handle the toppings on my own, just need a good base to stick 'em on!
