Gang Gang Cockatoo ...

... when I got home this afternoon I popped out the feed the fish and I heard this weird noise, sort of wailing but like a squeaky gate or something. I looked up and saw the underside of a dark grey or black bird with a flash of white under the tail. I didn't see the head so I can't be 100% sure but I THINK it was a Gang Gang Cockatoo (go to the site, you can listen to the call).
These chaps are relatively common in Canberra so it was quite cheering to see an old friend.
