A foolish mix ...

... last night I foolishly mixed 3 volatile ingredients, cough medicine, a fine Hunter Valley Red from the early 1990s (the thinking being it would help me sleep) and a piece of pure Hollywood emotional manipulation, Finding Neverland.
My, my how I wept. I cried for the horrid social snobbery, I cried for the little orphans invited to the opening night of Peter Pan, I cried when (spoiler) his wife left him, I cried when (spoiler) the mother died, I cried when beastly Mr Brown told me one of the boys went on to die in WWI. I was a mess Mr Brown had to put to bed (serves him right, he practically forced me to drink the red and told be the sad story, just when I thought I could weep no more).
Tonight I was not so foolish, and so, could watch Crude without tears. Absolutely fascinating - and I carry away from it this thought, oil is "cooked Jurassic sunshine". Yes, that's what we use to power our cars (and loads else besides), prehistoric sunshine.

Ooo. I love mixing drugs. It can make you fell so... um... funky.

or pathetically weepy, as was my case.

ooh - I want to see this, and spoilers don't bother me, i'll still be emotionally manipulated and left sobbing.

And I too, mix my poisons .. especially when sick .. red wine just makes the meds .. um .. work better .. ;)

Finding Neverland really got to me too. And I'm typically the strong, silent type.

B - Mr Brown is the stong, silent type, and has the T-shirt to prove it.

I cry at commercials sometimes, especially if they have animals in them, with no drugs. That's right, people, I'm a sap.

Never mind E, I've been known to cry at commercials too (unmedicated), my mum too. It's an excess of empathy I believe.
