... Waited an age to buy this book, Arthur & George, 
I was determined not to have the paperback.And then I whacked a few more books onto LibraryThing, 473 now! I looked at my tags and it appears I read a lot about history (61 books), travel (42 books), language (42 books), people (40 books) and I'm quite nosy (36 autobiographies & 24 biographies).
On a completely different note, my left eyebrow has been twitching for days - either I'm stressed, very angry, or my head is about to explode.

Golly. I didn't know you were a history buff? I read Flaubert's Parrot once. Can't remember a ruddy thing about it except that I think I quite enjoyed it.
Altho, I was quite young way back then and I suspect much of the deeper philosophical arguments went right over my wee head ... lol
I don't think I am a history buff really, I'm just really really nosey and want to know EVERYTHING.
